Saving the CEO by Jenny Holiday
Saving the CEO by Jenny Holiday
Real estate mogul Jack Winter has rules. Lots of rules. After all, a man doesn’t build an empire without a little discipline. And on page one of the rulebook? Don’t sleep with your employees. Especially when there’s a multimillion dollar real estate deal at stake...
Luckily for Jack, Cassie James isn’t really his employee. She’s a hot bartender who just happens to be the math genius he needs, and if they share a wicked chemistry? Well, that's just a sexy little perk. So they strike a deal: Cassie helps Jack with the merger. And until the deal goes through at Christmas, they can indulge every sexy little impulse they desire. But the more rules Jack makes, the more he seems to break...
This book was great! Jack is HOT and well, Wow, if I ran into him in a bar........
I loved the relationship between Jack and Cassie. They were having fun and enjoying each other. This book was very sweet. The perfect snuggle up book for a rainy day.

SEALS of Winter Boxed Set
SEALS of Winter Boxed Set
Nine alpha Navy SEAL romance heroes from your favorite NYT & USA Today bestselling authors. Brand new Christmas military romances from Cora Seton, Elle Kennedy, Jennifer Lowery, Elle James, Anne Marsh, S. M. Butler, Delilah Devlin, Kimberley Troutte, and Zoe York!
Sequel to the NYT and USA bestselling SEALs of Summer boxed set.
THE NAVY SEAL'S CHRISTMAS BRIDE (a Chance Creek novella) by CORA SETON. Navy SEAL Dan Hemmins goes head to head with soldier Sarah Metlin to prove once and for all that women can't possibly qualify for an elite branch of the military, but when Sarah proves she's not just one of the most qualified warriors he's ever met, she's also one of the smartest and sexiest, too, he'll do whatever it takes to get closer to her, even if he has to challenge her to another contest...or three...or five!
FLASH FIRE (an Out of Uniform novella) by ELLE KENNEDY. Navy SEAL Cash McCoy knows all about danger--he lives and breathes it on a daily basis. When it comes to the love of his life, though, this alpha soldier does everything in his power to keep Jen Scott happy and safe. But when the tables are turned and Jen places herself in harm's way for her job, their relationship is put to the test. Now Cash must learn to trust the woman he loves...or lose her forever.
A SEAL FOR CHRISTMAS (a SEAL Team Alpha novella) byJENNIFER LOWERY. Navy SEAL Donovan Demarco is looking to spend a quiet family Christmas, but an accident puts Cloe Carter's life in danger and he is honor-bound to protect her. Will the threat against them tear them apart or will this holiday season mend their broken hearts?
SEAL'S PROPOSAL (A Take No Prisoners story) by ELLE JAMES. On a mission to create the perfect setting for a Christmas proposal, Navy SEAL Remy 'Gator' LaDue finds himself running interference for his beautiful, independent-minded FBI Agent Mitchell Sanders when she becomes the target of an escaped criminal she helped convict
YOURS FOR CHRISTMAS by ANNE MARSH. When Navy SEAL Zack Medina comes home to Strong, California for Christmas, he's got more than a firefight on his hands. He needs to convince his estranged wife that 'tis the season to forgive...and that will take a Christmas miracle. Bree lost her heart three years ago to the sexy SEAL and letting him back into her heart--and her bed--would be a mistake. A really hot, impossibly sweet mistake
SEALED UNTIL CHRISTMAS (a Lucky Thirteen story) by S.M. BUTLER. Jesse Richter is a Navy SEAL with a hero complex, but he's met his match in Charlie Morgan, the girl who refuses to be the damsel in distress. A battle of wills and a little mistletoe bring them together, but secrets may tear them apart.
RULES OF ENGAGEMENT by DELILAH DEVLIN. Callie Murphy's never been one to moon over a man. Fairytale romances don't exist outside of books. She's seen first-hand how transitory love can be after watching her mother fall in and out of marriage. Derek Tilden hammered home that truth when he joined the Navy to become a SEAL--he was the boy who couldn't wait to see the world and she was the girl ready to plant deep roots. Now he's back and asking her to marry him one last time...
UNDER THE RADAR (SEAL EXtreme Team III) by KIMBERLEY TROUTTE. SEAL pilot, Ty Whitehorse, is shot down in the Arctic and must escape through hostile territory. But when the mother of all blizzards attacks, he holes up in a hunter's cabin with Holly Colton, a sexy lady musher with a deady secret. Ty isn't the only one laying low under the radar. They're both in enemy crosshairs. Staying together is dangerous. Separating? Impossible.
FALL HARD (a SEALs Undone novella) by ZOE YORK. Jared Sutter has a simple rule when it comes to women: keep 'em happy and keep 'em at a distance. He's got his reasons, and they all make sense until he falls for his neighbor and Cassie Bronson makes him want things he has not wanted in a long time.
OMG!!! A boxed set of Navy SEALS. How could this go wrong? I was in heaven! I was drooling! I was head over heels in love with every one of them! Every one of these books were amazing. They were all slightly different but equally fantastic. I was trying to decide which one I liked the most and could not even narrow it down to the top three! That should show you how amazing they all are!
I am so excited to own this set as I will definitely read them all several more times. I recommend this set to anyone who likes romance.

Phoenix Inheritance by Corrina Lawson
Phoenix Inheritance by Corrina Lawson
Ex-Navy SEAL Daz Montoya and rescue dog handler Renee Black have made a career out of saving people. But when their whirlwind affair resulted in pregnancy, Daz’s verbal fumble tore their budding relationship apart.
It’s been a tough eight years for Renee, raising Charlie alone with his autism-fueled impulsiveness, but she’s managed—until now. When she has to chase him to the edge of a cliff in a snowstorm, seeing the face of their rescuer is just the rotten cherry on top of an already rough day.
In the close confines of a snowbound cabin, Renee and Daz rediscover the heat still simmering between them. But while Renee welcomes Daz’s renewed determination to help Charlie however he can, she’s reluctant to trust him with her heart.
With the Phoenix Institute’s help, Renee and Daz discover their son’s gift for animal telepathy is real. And that to save him from old enemies that would kill to control him, they must join forces—and risk losing everything they’ve ever loved.
Warning: This novel contains explicit reunion sex and characters used to mixing a little danger in with their romance.
This book was WAY out of my comfort zone and I almost stopped reading it but in the end, it was worth the read. The story line was good, the characters were well written, all in all, it was catchy. Once I got past the strange things in the book, I could not put it down. I found it exciting and fun!

For His Protection by Amber A. Bardan
For His Protection by Amber A. Bardan
For years Tyler has longed, lusted and burned for the girl who saved his life. He’ll do anything to have her—including hiring her as his bodyguard. But when the girl of his dreams turns out to have a dark streak he never could have imagined, he’ll need more in his seductive arsenal than sweet talk—he’ll have to find out just how far he’s prepared to go to get her.
Brooke has been through the kind of hell that doesn’t make it into most people’s nightmares. She’s strong, she’s fierce and she believes the only place any man belongs in her life is wedged under the toe of her shoe. Ty is the one man to get under her skin and send her mindless with desire. He’s also a spanner in her life that could undo everything she's worked for.
She wants him—but can a man like Ty handle the kind of fantasies she has in mind?
This book is a little different as it starts off pretty stalkerish but it did level out and became quite a good book. Seeing a man who is so love sick and weak is a bit strange and different but it worked here. Was this my favorite book? No but it was still a really good book and I would encourage you to read it.

Lethal Consequences by Elisabeth Naughton
Lethal Consequences by Elisabeth Naughton
Three months after rescuing Olivia Wolfe from danger, Aegis Security operative Landon Miller still can’t stop thinking about her, even though she’s off-limits in every way possible. Knowing he’s leaving Aegis and returning to the DIA soon, Landon decides it’s time for their flirty online relationship to end. But Olivia can’t stop thinking about Landon, either. On a whim, she takes a leave of absence from her teaching job to surprise him in Barcelona—and arrives to find a sexy redhead in his hotel room.
Things aren’t always what they seem, though. Landon’s would-be one-night stand is really a member of the Red Brotherhood, a terrorist group targeting Landon for information on a lethal bioweapon. And now Olivia is unwittingly ensnared in their deadly plot, too. Forget escaping emotionally unscathed; Olivia just wants to make it home alive. Yet to survive, she’ll have to put her trust in the very man who not only broke her heart, but whose lies now threaten both their lives.
In the second book in bestselling author Elisabeth Naughton’s popular Aegis series, heart-pounding suspense stirs up deliciously sizzling romance.
This book was full of excitement all the way through. I found it very hard to put it down. I did think the ending felt a little rushed. There could have been more excitement and a bigger payoff but other than that, it was great!

Pretending with the Playboy by Tracey Livesay
Pretending with the Playboy by Tracey Livesay
Commitment makes you weak. It's playboy Carter Richardson's motto. The only exception to the rule is his aunt, and when Carter learns she's terminally ill, he rushes to her bedside. Filled with fear and guilt—and desperate to ease his aunt's mind—Carter does the only thing a guy could do...he panics and blurts out that he's engaged to his aunt's enticing protegĂ©e.
Lauren Olsen has already had her heart crushed once by Carter. Against her better judgment, she agrees to keep up appearances—until Carter makes their “engagement” public in order to protect the family business. Now Lauren's torn between obeying her conscience, and obeying her desire. Because while she could never trust the womanizing Carter she once knew, she seems to be falling for the man beneath the playboy...
This book was very very cute! I loved the story line (although it was very predictable) and loved the characters! There is so much humor from start to finish and that is my favorite part of this book!

I'M BBBAAAAAAAACCCCCKKKK!!!!
Hello my friends! I am back!!!!
As we got into the holiday season, life got a little hectic and I ran out of time to read and write my reviews. I have missed you all and I have decided that I am going to start reviewing at least two books a week for the rest of the year.
As you will see in the coming months, I am on a Military kick, especially Navy Seals! Yum!! If anyone has any similar books that I can read and review, please let me know! :)
Max has been reading more chapter books lately and less picture books so he will not be reviewing as much since they take longer to read. I will still try to get him to post a review a week but there may be weeks he does not make it.
Enough talking......I am ready to read! Lets have a fantastic year!
