Class Orientation

This week Max and I will be participating in the Summer Lovin Read-A-Thon.

Class Introduction time!!

My name is Libby. I like to read Mystery, Romance and Christian. Here is a fun fact. I am 31 at the beginning of this read-a-thon and will be 32 at the end of it! Fun! LOL  I live in Florida where it is hot, muggy and there are daily thunderstorms this time of year. This week I plan to read inside as well as outside when I have the chance.

Max is my ALMOST 6 year old son. Here is a fun fact about Max, He is five at the beginning of the read-a-thon and will be six by the end of it! LOL.  His birthday is Wednesday, Mine is Sunday. :) Max loves reading and likes to review books for my blog. Sometimes I even let him do the whole review of a book he gets from the library. He gets such a kick out of it.

Max and I are excited about this read-a-thon. Because he cannot participate in all the events, I have made him a few games for the next week. He will also get treasure box for reading a certain number of books. I also arranged to mail him a few! LOL. Who doesn't like getting books in the mail? :)

Goals:

My goal is  to read 3 books this week, but I have not decided  which ones yet. Max's goal is to read 20 (what? His books are WAY shorter and he gets treasure box which has REAL toys in it for reading! LOL)

Ok so there you go! Now it is time to take a break to read!!

Hey read-a-thon participants!

Welcome to your first Summer Lovin' RaT Challenge! Today we'll be doing a teaser tidbit!  What is a teaser tidbit? This teaser tidbit challenge is all about sharing  (2) “teaser” sentences from a current or recent read to try to entice others to add it to their TBR list!

Ok so I am currently reading, After The Kiss by Lauren Layne

Teaser one- "Of course I know about the bet. The whole floor knows about the bet. I have a pool going."

Teaser two- "Honey, these aren't heels, they're Louboutins, She corrected. Honestly. Men."

  1. That is so cool that you are letting/helping your son to participate! I believe children can never read too much! (And adults, too!) Thanks for stopping by my blog!
